Notizia fresca: Vodafone lancerà l’Hsdpa “prima dell’estate”. Vodafone promette inoltre una copertura del 60 per cento al lancio (sulla popolazione) e del 70 per cento per fine anno. La copertura di Tim sarà invece piuttosto ridotta al lancio, a giugno (Roma, Milano, Torino). Tre parte da marzo, ma sarà solo a Roma; a giugno raggiungerà il 35 per cento della popolazione.
Insomma, nonostante sia Tre a partire per prima, mi sembra che questa volta sia Vodafone in anticipo. Poi, certo bisognerà vedere quanto costeranno i cellulari Hsdpa (Tre li sovvenzionerà , non èdetto lo facciano anche gli altri) e quali vantaggi offriranno (maggiore velocità , sì, ma per fare che cosa?). Nota a margine: la maggiore vvelocit concessa dall’Hsdpa aumenta le efficienze e di conseguenza riduce il costo a monte della banda su rete mobile. Stop al salasso quando si naviga con il cellulare? Certo è che Tre intende puntare di più sulle tariffe flat. Vedremo.
